Segment Sequence

The maximum P-Value for this Attribute may be different from the maximum P-Value from the output of the Presentation LUT, which may be less than 16 bits in depth.

A default triplet value in which it is recommended that Segment be rendered on a color display. The units are specified in PCS-Values, and the value is encoded as CIELab. See Section C.10.7.1.1.

Shall not be present if Segmentation Type (0062,0001) is LABELMAP and Photometric Interpretation (0028,0004) is PALETTE COLOR.


C.8.20.2.1 Bits Allocated, Bits Stored, and High Bit

As a consequence of the Enumerated Values for Bits Allocated, Bits Stored, and High Bit Attributes, single bit pixels shall be packed 8 to a byte as defined by the encoding rules in PS3.5.
