To reuse such templates in the absence of such laterality-specific measurement concepts however, a small number of additional laterality precoordinated anatomical structures are required to communciate the laterality in the target site. The thyroid has been identified as one such organ. Additional related non-lateralized codes are needed for the concept name of the target site.
