For the purpose of Implant Template SOP Classes the DICOM Model of the Real World is described in this section. This subset of the real-world model covers the requirements for the planning of surgical implantation of implants using 2D and/or 3D templates. In this context, a Manufacturer may be a company, an institution or a person that issues Implant Templates.
